Ingredients:

Instructions:
Preheat your waffle iron according to manufacturer's instructions
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt
In another bowl, beat the egg and then add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract
Mix well
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined
Don't overmix; a few lumps are okay
Lightly grease your waffle iron with cooking spray or oil
Pour the batter onto the waffle iron and close the lid
Cook until the waffles are golden brown and crispy, usually about 4-5 minutes
Carefully remove the waffle sticks from the iron, and they're ready to serve! Optional: Serve with your favorite dipping sauces like maple syrup, chocolate sauce, or whipped cream
